(a) mica is a non metallic mineral which can be split easily into thin sheets that a thousands can be layered  into a mica sheet of few centimetres height. it is made up of a series of plates or leaves.


(b) mica  can be clear, black ,green ,red ,yellow or brown uses it is accident dielectric strength, low power factor, insulating properties and resistance 2 high voltage, and is therefore, very useful and indispensable mineral in electric and electronic industries.
