It's vitamin D. It can be synthesized in our body when our skin are exposed to sunlight. The ultraviolet B radiation from sunlight penetrate our epidermis, where 7-dehydrocholesterol are present. Then it turn into cholecalciferol. The cholecalciferol then go to liver and convert into 25-hydroxycholecalciferol. Which further add a hydroxi group and be 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol in the kidney. This very substance is called active vitamin D.
