  • Proteins are broken down into amino acids which result in formation of ammonia.
  • This ammonia being toxic highly toxic, can't be directly removed from the body and is converted to urea in liver.
  • This urea is released into circulation which gets excreted into urine by kidneys.
  • Urine is further passed to bladder and then to urethra for removal.
