This part of Himalayas stretches from west to east, which is also called as Kashmir Himalaya and Himachal Himalaya.

This section covers various ranges such as Ladakh, Karakoram, Zaskar, PirPanjal and Dhaola Dhar. It is 560 kms long and elevation falls westwards.
