(i) The water for the undigested food gets absorbed in the “large intestine”.

(ii) The digested food gets absorbed in the “small intestine”.

(iii) The taste of the food is perceived by the taste buds in the “tongue”, they contain the receptor cells called gustatory cells that help in taste perception.

(iv) The bile juice is produced in the “liver” and is poured into the small intestine to help in digestion of fat molecules present in food, the bile juice is alkaline in nature.
