There are various electromagnetic waves which are found in electromagnetic spectrum. These are named as gamma rays, X- rays, U.V rays, visible light, infrared waves, micro waves and radio waves.

RADAR stands for radio detection and ranging. For radar communication, the wave must be less energetic and have high wavelength.

In the electromagnetic spectrum, radio wave has the least frequency i.e it is less energetic and its wavelength is very high as compared to others. That's why radio wave is suitable for radar systems. The range, angle and velocity of an object can be calculated through these systems through radio waves.

Hence, the correct answer to the question is radio wave.
