Answer:

The physical quantity which remains constant during uniform circular motion is the Speed of the body in circular motion.

Uniform Circular Motion

If a body moves in a circular path in such a way that it covers equal distance along the circumference of circle in equal intervals of time, then the motion is called uniform circular motion.

From the definition of uniform circular motion, it is clear that if the speed of the body following circular motion is constant, then only it can be called uniform circular motion.

Some terms related to uniform circular motion-

1) Angular Displacement

The angle subtended at the centre of circle by the line joining the centre and the body is called angular displacement. It is represented by Δθ and its unit is radian.

2) Angular Velocity-

The angle turned by the body executing circular motion in 1 second is called its angular velocity. It is represented by ω(omega) and its unit is rad/s.
