=> The Lenticels are small minute unclosable pores that are present on the surface of woody stems.

=> Unlike stomata, they cannot open or close and are not guarded by any cells like the guard cells.

=> From the diagram, one can see that the picture is of a woody stem and minute pores are clearly visible.

=> Lenticels allow transpiration (in small quantities) from the surface of some stems.
