Actually, Arechimedes had a given a principle which says that, When a body immersed in fluid then it will experience an up thurst. It was named as Archimedes' Principle or Buoyant Force.
The tendency of fluid to resist any body inside it, It is said to Buoyancy.

Buoyant Force = vdg

v= Volume of displced liquid
d= density of body
g= Acceleration due to Gravity.
