Answer:

Explanation:

Urine volume and concentration is regulated through the same processes that regulate blood volume. Antidiuretic hormone (ADH)—produced by the posterior pituitary gland —increases the amount of water reabsorbed in the distal convoluted tubule and collecting duct.

Answer:

There are three steps in the formation of urine :

Filtration , Reabsorption , Secretion ..

Explanation :

Filtration : The renal artery brings blood along with waste materials to the Kidneys . the products which are filtered from blood include water , urea , uric acid , glucose amino acids and salts .

Reabsortion : As the filtrate move down the tubules, useful substances such as sugar, water and some salt reabsorbs . Reabsorption is controlled by hormones . Substances such as glucose amino acids , salt and water reabsorbed to maintain the balance in the blood .

Secretion : Some of the urea and salts which escape filteration are secreted back in the tubules when they pass through the capillaries surrounding tubles.
