Name the process which helps in temperature regulation in plants, mention another function of the process

Transpiration helps in temperature regulation in plants. It is a process of removal of water from the aerial parts of the plants in the form of water vapour. It helps in ascent of the sap and other functions also involves the gaseous exchange.
