We use oxygen for human and animal respiratory systems, if there is no oxygen then we will be not able to survive. Plants produce oxygen so we need to save plants to get fresh clean oxygen.
Plants use carbon dioxide for their photosynthesis process. When we exhale or excrete carbon dioxide, it is used by plants for photosynthesis processes.
However, plants and we humans/animals are interdependent on each other as we exchange gases (carbon dioxide and oxygen). When we excrete or exhale carbon dioxide, it is used by plants for the photosynthesis processes and when plants release or excrete oxygen, it is used by us. This exchanging of gases helps in maintaining equilibrium in our environment but as we are doing deforestation, it leads disturbance in this balance.
