Gas and water are the products formed when ethanoic acid react with Sodium Bicarbonate.

When ethanoic acid react with Sodium Bicarbonate then Gas and water are formed. It is not directly process.

Gas is produced in Solid state and Water is produced in Gaseous state. And because of ethanoic acid gas is produced in Solid State.

=> Na HCO3 + CH3COOH = NaC2H302 + H20 + CO2
