Answer : acceleration
As you know , rate of change of velocity with respect to time is known as acceleration. Or, you can say that acceleration is the ratio of change of velocity and taken during motion .
Mathematically, a = (v₂- v₁)/(t₂ - t₁) or, ∆V/∆T ,
here a is acceleration and v is velocity .
Slope means ratio of change in y - co- ordinate and change in x - co - ordinate
e.g., slope = (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)
Now, in velocity time graph , in y axis ⇒ velocity
And in x - axis ⇒time
so, slope = (v₂ - v₁)/(t₂ - t₁) , this is what ? Of - course acceleration .
hence, slope of velocity time graph is acceleration because slope
