national waterway no2 is a part of river bramhaputra 
between the Bangladesh border and Sadiya
national waterway number 2 was declared as national water way on 
1 September in 1988
lenght of national waterway no 2 is 891 km
it has a fixed terminal known as pandu 
it also has floating terminaals whose names are 
 Dhubri, Jogighopa, Tezpur, Silghat, Dibrugarh, Jamuguri, Bogibil, Saikhowa and Sadiya
navigational lights have been provided between the Bangladesh Border and Dibrugarh

Brahmaputra is the river related to National Waterway 2 (abbreviation NW-2) and from 1 September, 1988 this waterway came into effect. It has a length of 891 km and lies between the Bangladesh border and Sadiya. For safe navigation, country boats with navigational lights have been provided between the Bangladesh Border and Dibrugarh. The single fixed terminal is Pandu while floating ones include Dhubri, Jogighopa, Tezpur, Silghat, Dibrugarh, Jamuguri, Bogibil, Saikhowa and Sadiya.
