Hi There !
_____________________________________________________________
I think it should be sulfide instead of sulphate
when dilute hydrochloric acid (HCl) react with iron sulfide (FeS)
the reaction is FeS(s)+ 2HCl(aq)→ FeCl2(aq) + H2S(g)
when the reaction is happened very malodourous smell observe from it and very toxic gas.
