The sac like structure which forms the grana is Thylakoid.

Explanation:

Thylakoid is a site inside the chloroplast where the photosynthesis takes place. They are basically in stack arrangment which is called as grana and are shaped like flattened disks. Inside the thylakoid membrane exists a complex of light absorbing pigments and proteins such as chlorophyll and carotenoids.

Thus, thylakoid membrane becomes the place where the process of photosynthesis takes place and plants get their nourishment from.
