There are three different parts of a seed that are capable of storing food. These parts are perisperm, endosperm and cotyledons. The food is stored in the seeds in the form of either carbohydrates, fats or proteins. It supports the embryo during the seed germination process.

The answer is "Endosperm and Cotyledon''.

In the seeds, food store in the endosperm and cotyledon. But, sometimes food may be stored in "Perisperm'. This food may be present in different forms like carbohydrates, fats or protein. The form of food present in seed varies from plant to plant.

Also, the embryo of the seed uses stored food for proper growth during seed germination (seedling growth).

Hope this will help you in your study.
