Bleaching powder is obtained by the interaction of chlorine with dry slaked lime.

EXPLANATION:

   "Bleaching powder" can be prepared by passing chlorine over "dry slaked lime". "Bleaching powder" can be prepared in a huge  quantity by passing the chlorine gas or solution through a solution that has calcium hydroxide solution in it.    

   There is a reaction which occurs between the chlorine and the dry slaked lime which gives raise to the occurrence of bleaching powder.
