The three states of matter are liquid ,solid and gase.

solid-A substance or object that is solid rather than luquid or fluid. example -table sugar ,water ice.

liquid-A substance that flows freely but is of constant volume,having a consistency like that of water or oil.example-water.

Gas-when the temperature or pressure is raised or lowered on they will shift into other state. example-pure oxygen.
