The three types of plate tectonics are as follows:

1.Convergent boundaries-That happens when two tectonics plates move towards each other and form a mountain like structure. This is how Himalayas are formed.

2.Divergent boundaries-That happens when two tectonics plates move away from each other and form valley like structure.

3.Transform boundaries-That happens mostly on sea floor, when two tectonics plates slide sideways from each other.
