Example of transported soil is Alluvial soil.
When the soil is carried from the place of its origin to another place by different ways of the agents of graduation such as a river, wind, etc, it is called transported soil.
These are fotmed due to the depositional work of rivers and wind. They are very deep. They are often referred to as transported or azonal soils.
In India, Alluvial soils are formed mainly mainly because of the silt deposited by Indo-Gangetic-Brahmaputra rivers
