EXPLANATION:

Beal tree is the member of monotypic genes Aegle. It has 13 meter tall branches. Leaves are finely hairy with a round base of shape. Fruits of these trees can be eaten fresh or it can be dried and converted into candies. One large beal fruit has 5 to 6 liters of sharbat.

Along with religious significance, leaves of the beal fruit plant can be eaten as salad. It has orange viscous oil. Various evidences have been found in the suktas of Rigveda about religious significance of the beal leaves.
