1) centrosomes

They are responsible for the formation of spindle fibres.

\underline{\sf{Cell\:organelles\:found\:only\:in\:animal\:cell\:are:-}}

{\implies{\sf{}}} Centrosomes and Lysosomes

Functions of Centrosomes:

  • The main function of Centrosomes is to help the cell in cell division by forming spindles.
  • They are also responsible for the organization and nucleation of microtubules in animal cells.
  • It also regulates the cell cycle during cellular division.
  • The centrosome plays a key role in efficient mitosis, but it is not considered essential.

Functions of Lysosomes:

  • Lysosomes are membrane - bound cell organelles,called suicide bags because they contain hydrolytic enzymes, when burst out digests the own cell.
  • Lysosomes are a kind of garbage disposal system of cell as they remove worn out materials and poorly working cell organelles out of the body.
