WHEN THE SULPHUR REACTS OR BURNS WITH OXYGEN THE IT GIVES THE OXIDES OF SULPHUR DIOXIDE(SO2) AND DISULPHUR MONOXIDE(N2O) THAT ARE MAJOR AIR POLLUTANTS AND SO2 ALSO CAUSES ACID RAINS. IF THIS ARE EXPOSED TO THE HUMANS IN MORE QUANTITIES CAB LEAD TO RESPIRATORY PROBLEMS AND DISEASES .
