Lysosomes are the cell organelles which eliminate the old and worn out organelles of the cell.They are bag-like - structures filled with digestive enzymes, which are used to digest the old worn out cell organelles. But lysosomes are called suicidal bags also. Because during a disturbance in the cellular metabolism the lysosomes may burst and the digestive enzymes will digest their own cell.
