The leaves of plant have tiny poreson their surface which are called stomata. The exchange of gases in the leaves during respiration take place through stomata. This happens as follows

The oxygen from the air enters into the leaf through stomata and reaches all the cells by the process of diffusion.

Hope this help

IcecreamParasite: So that means the two processes are diffusion and stomatal respiration?
