Two sets of nerves that forms the "peripheral nervous system" are "Cranial nerves and Spinal nerves".

Explanation:

These nerves are outside to the central nervous system. There are twelve pairs of nerves which grows directly from the bottom portion of the brain. These nerves are responsible for receiving information from the "sensory organs, control muscles, glands" and some are connected to internal organs. Spinal nerves are present on the each direction of "vertebral column".
