Name the two special types of lymphocytes in humans. How do they differ in their roles in immune response?

B-lymphocytes, T-lymphocytes are the two special types of lymphocytes.

B-cells produce pathogen specific antibodies and provide humoral immune response.

T-cells help the B-cells to produce antibodies and are responsible for cell mediated immunity.
