Herbivorous animals/ruminants have longer intestines than that of carnivorous animals. this is because they need to digest CELLULOSE (carbohydrate).this can be only digezted by ruminants because they are very hard to digist and its a very-very long process. it cannot be digested by humans because we are not having long intestine as ruminants.
