Hello friend
In meiosis 4 daughter cells are formed from a single mothers cell which are haploid.
It is called reducational division because chromosome number is reduced in offspring.
The other one is mitosis in which two daughter cells are formed from a parent cell which are of same ploidy level as the parents.
