There are four types of sentences;
1. Declarative sentence: The sentence that makes a proper statement is known as a declarative sentence. It has further two types positive and negative.
For example; I will go to the party (positive) I will not go to the party (negative)
2. Interrogative sentence: The sentence that makes a question is known as interrogative sentence.
For example; Where is your book?
3. Imperative sentence: The sentence that makes any request.
For example; Please open the door.
4. Exclamatory sentence: The sentence that expresses some feelings is known as exclamatory sentence.
For example; Hurrah! We are going to the beach.
