DNA ( Deoxy Ribose Nucleic Acid ) is the unit of inheritence because this is the most fundamental unit of a genus wich transfers from the parents to their offsprings. DNA plays a very important role in transferring (not exactly but similar) from the parents to their offsprings that is why in 99% cases, the mindset of atleast one of the parent is similar to the mindst of their child. Their way of thinking and solving is similar
