B. The Temperate:

The canopy is dense to a moderate level and allows light to penetrate, leading to a well-developed and richly diversified under story vegetation and stratification of animals. Their flora is characterized by 3-4 tree species per square kilometers.

C. Boreal Forest:

The temperature here is very low. Precipitation is primarily in the form of snow, 40-100 cm annually. The soil is thin, nutrient-poor, and acidic and the light rays do not really enter the area. Fauna includes woodpeckers, hawks, fox and bear.
