Supporting tissue:

The three most important ones are Parenchyma, Collenchyma and schlerenchyma.
Parenchyma -
- They store food
- They give temporary support to the plant.
Collenchyma -
This tissue helps to support the parts of a plant.
Schlerenchyma -
This tissue provides strength to the parts of plant.
Conducting tissue :
There are two types of conducting tissues called Xylem and phloem.
Xylem -
- Xylem tracheids provide mechanical support.
- Xylem Parenchyma stores food.
- Xylem Parenchyma also helps in the conduction of water and minerals.
Phloem -
- Sieve tubes helps in the transport of food from leaves to other parts of the plant.
- Companion cells helps in the functioning of the sieve tube cell.
