New Delhi: Actor George Baker, who had unsuccessfully contested the 2014 Lok Sabha polls as a BJP candidate from West Bengal, and Richard Hay, a professor of economics from Kerala, were today nominated as members of the Anglo-Indian Community to the Lok Sabha.

A) Richard Hay. He is a professor of economics and was nominated from Kerala. He also teaches economics in academic institutes in many countries abroad as well as India.
B) George Baker. He is an actor and was nominated from West Bengal. Mr. Baker, took part in various Assamese and Bengali movies. In 2014 he had joined BJP. He became famous in the film named ‘Chameli Memsaab’ which won a national award in the year 1975.
