ANSWER:
Tropical – Orangutan and Jaguar
Montane – Snow Leopard and Red Panda
EXPLANATION:
Animals habitating in the tropical rainforests are extremely adapted to that specific climate and environment. They are generally tree dwellers, are brightly patterned and coloured, use loud vocalisations, and have diets comprising mostly fruits. Within the tropical forest there are 4 unique layers of vegetation, each with different environs which support varied species.
Regardless of the incredible diversity of these animals and their capability to productively live in the rainforest, several are highly specialised for their environs and are endangered owing to factors such as poaching and disease. The montane forest is habitat to a range of wildlife species. A few of these animals are all round the year inhabitants while others are seasonal visitors who migrates south for the winter.
