Similarly,after the rule of Mauryan dynasty was finished, several foreign powers attacked and successfully conquered our country.

Some of them are:

1)Mughal dynasty:

Mughal dynasty was one of the most successful foreign powers which was able to rule our country for a long time period.

This dynasty was first established by the emperor Babur,in our country.

And Akbar was the most successful emperor of this Mughal Empire.

2)British rule:

After the complete fall of the Mughal Empire and Sultanate era in our country,the British traders came to our country for trading purposes.But they conquered our country in various way and ruled us for almost 200 years.

We got our independence from the British rulers in the year of 1947.
