• Two modes of land transport are cars and buses. They are the most frequently used vehicular mode of transport on land. They are also the largest sources of air and noise pollution.
• Two modes of air transport are helicopters and aeroplanes. Helicopters fly at a low altitude and are most frequently used for travelling short distances due to its low speed. Aeroplanes travel at a high altitude and they have a greater speed, travel long distances and can accommodate more individuals for traveling.
• Two modes of water transport are ships and boats. Ships are large in size with greater capacity and travel long distances. Boats are usually small and travel short distances.
