There are various modern day techniques of farming.

Among them the two important methods of farming are:-

Intensive tillage- Here the soil is cultivated regularly deeply and tractors are introduced to continue this practice.

Monoculture- In this method only one crop is grown therefore it is very helpful in sowing seeds and also controlling weeds.
