HEY!!

You have many more states of matter in addition to solids, liquids and gases: but they have been generalised so that there is little confusion over the many states; principally, apart from the most common three states, there are three more states of matter: Plasma, the Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) and Fermionic matter.

Plasma is nothing but ionized gas found in the very hot cores of stars.

Bose Einstein Condensate was recently obtained by three scientists who proved a theoretical work the Einstein and Bose years ago; they proved that on cooling particles to extremely low temperatures a new type of matter with different properties can be detected. I'm giving a very vague and simplified idea of BEC, it's actually a much more complicated thing.

Fermionic matter is matter composed of fermions - which are supposed to be one of the building blocks of nature containing six of the sixteen elementary particles in the universe. Fermions contain electrons, muons, tauons and their respective neutrinos.
