The two strange cell organelles are mitochondria and plastids. They are called so because, unlike other cell organelles, they have their own nucleus and ribosomes

The two strange cell organelles are Mitochondria and Plastids.
Explanation:
In bodies of animals and plants, there are huge number of cells. Each cell contains some organelles such as ribosomes, nucleus, mitochondria and sometimes plastids.
But out of all these cell organelles, MITOCHONDRIA and PLASTIDS are the only cell organelles which contain ribosomes and a nucleus on their own. They are called strange cell organelles because of their property to contain nucleus where the nucleus contains DNA and ribosomes.
The mitochondria helps in respiration and plastid helps in protein synthesis.
A cell organelle doing a process and containing its own DNA is strange. So, Mitochondria and Plastids are called strange organelles.
