Now, only one journalist has been killed recently in 2017.
It's Journalist, Gauri Lankesh.
She is a bold women activist and journalist, from Bangalore in Karnataka.
She had her own patrike that is Gauri Lankesh Patrike.
She was a part of the Hindutva right-wing.
She was shot dead on 5th sept, 2017.
It's said to be because of she discredited two BJP party members through her writing.
