let the number of cows be x
So no. of buffaloes will be 2x
x+2x= 21
3x = 21
x= 21/3
x= 7
No. of cows is 7
no.of buffaloes is 14
So no. of buffaloes will be 2x
x+2x= 21
3x = 21
x= 21/3
x= 7
No. of cows is 7
no.of buffaloes is 14
