Answer:

∴ The total length of the cloth bought by Naresh is 5 m 25 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to question asked,

  • We have to find the total length of the cloth bought by Naresh.
  • It is given that, Cloth for shirt bought by Naresh = 3 m 20 cm

Cloth for trousers bought by Naresh = 1 m 15 cm less than shirt.

  • So, to find the total length of the cloth bought by Naresh, we have to first find the cloth of trousers.

      Cloth of trousers =  3 m 20 cm - 1 m 15 cm

                               = 2 m 5 cm

  • Now,

The total length of the cloth bought by Naresh

= Cloth of shirt + Cloth of trousers

                     =  3 m 20 cm + 2 m 5 cm

                     = 5 m 25 cm

  • ∴ The total length of the cloth bought by Naresh is 5 m 25 cm.
