Incident from my own experience when I had to face an embarrassing situation because of someone else's fault:
It so happened that I was giving my final exams and there was this student behind who was constantly nagging me for showing him the answers of the questions that came for the exam. I refused and did not even turn back to respond, instead I just ignored him. Then after some time I pen had fallen down and when I bent down to pick it up, my paper was clearly visible. The student behind me took this opportunity and started copying few answers. I was foolish enough not to cover the answer sheet.
At that moment the invigilator noticed this and thought I was helping the student copy. We both were sent to the principal and despite me telling the principal that I had no hand in it, she did not believe it. However, seeing that I never had any poor or bad conduct records previously the principle warned me and I was allowed to complete the paper in the principal’s room. I felt so embarrassed and also learnt a good lesson as to how to take care of my answer sheet in the exams.
