I know a friend, who turned from an atheist, to a theist, within a matter of a few minutes. I do not know if he would want me to use this story, so let's say his name is Mike.
So Mike, who is the hero of our story, and who lived in Mumbai, was walking in a Chawl once. He was in a dangerous part of a Chawl, at an odd hour. But he wasn't afraid.
So as he was walking through the Chawl, he came at a crossroad. Just as he was about to take a right from there, he hears an shout from behind.
"MIKE!"
Turning around to see who called him, he finds that no one was there. And apparently, at around the same time, he hears a gunshot from the left side of the crossroad, which makes its effect on a windowpane at the right.
Mike, believing that it was a miracle, goes on to become a very strong believer in God.
I do not know if what Mike told me that day is true or false, but all I know is this. Mike is one of the most religious people I've seen
