Answer:

my patience is legitimately my most debilitating weakness, and my affliction with it hasn’t benefited me or anyone in my life. I have spent much of my adult life grinding my teeth, sometimes literally, while wrestling against verbal reactions to events that have caused my impatience to flare up. During my teens and twenties, tangling with an impatient me was unpleasant and uncomfortable. Actually, my thirties and forties haven’t proven any easier.

As I plod through my middle age, I have convinced myself that I no longer come across as an impatient girl. I haven’t deluded myself into believing that I have actually become more patient; what I have done is trained myself not to outwardly display the signs of my impatience.
