How can I ever forget that fateful day when I was lost in a storm. I had gone to my in-laws during the summer vacation. After spending a few comfortable days, I was returning back. It had been very sultry for the past few days. The day I started my homeward journey, it had been excessively sultry that day. We had hardly driven 20 kilometers, when a strong gale began to blow very hard. Dark, billowy cloud covered the sky. I had never seen such dark clouds ever in my life! Soon heavy rain began to pelt down on our windscreen. It was difficult for the wipers to handle the downpour. I put the wiper speed to maximum, but to no avail. The gale became intenser. It became awfully difficult to keep on driving. The vehicles moving ahead dropped to snail-pace speed. All the vehicles on road switched the headlights on. The trees on either side were swaying threateningly. Their branches broke and fell on the road. All the cars and trucked stopped. For the visibility had been too poor to drive safely. Then the car inching slowly stopped. I too had to stop. I could not make out why the car had stopped. As I focused my eyes ahead , I could see the road had been blocked by a high intensity electric wire. It had snapped from the pole and fallen on the ground. I looked around for any by road. I noticed that a few meters, towards the back of the car on the left side was a by-road that could help me go round the electric wire that lay broken on the road. So i backed the car a little and took the road. I had never ever ventured on that road. And I didn't know where it would lead. We had hardly driven a few kilometers when the road diverged into two roads. I took that road went towards the direction of the GT road that we had been travelling on. But I was mistaken. The bend in the road that I had turned didn't take me towards the GT road. We got so much lost in the maze of bending, turning road that appeared to have no end. The downpour didn't abate. The gale didn't relent. And I could not find the road I was trying to find so desperately. Ultimately, I pulled up the car at a road stand tea-stall, and asked for directions. He told me we had been travelling in wrong direction. I could have reached the GT road if I had taken a particular turn on the road. So we had to drive all the way back to that turn. So I with my family got lost in the storm that day!

You can just left your imagination run wild. You could possibly start off with talking of that perfect day when you and your childhood friend wandered deep into the forests. WHat a day it was!! And then all of a sudden, the sky turned dark, with rain coming down with all its might. Etc etc.
When talking of the storm, you could either have feelings of fear, panic, etc. Alternatively, you could also think of this as an adventure and say what a day it was with the rain coming down with all its might, the trees swinging both ways. You could say that you were scared but the thrill of adventure overcame the fear.
I think that this is an essay where you should just let your imagination run wild. Good luck!!
