A few years back, I shifted to another city for an internship and it was the first time that I had left my home. I wandered about in the new city with no acquaintances.

Suddenly, I got a message from one of my friends inviting me to her house in the same city. I was surprised because I was not aware that she was also there.

It was a new city for me and it was the first time that I was going to celebrate my birthday alone. However, this friend of mine gave me a big surprise by arranging a small birthday party for me at her house.

I was overwhelmed and my happiness knew no bounds. I felt so welcomed and accepted in an unknown city and it became one of the best birthdays of my life.
